Set sail for the pirate-themed fun in Vallejo

Pirates have been spotted heading towards Vallejo, but there is no need for anyone to worry as it will all be in good fun.

The city will be hosting the Northern California Pirate Festival, which is a two-day celebration of life on the high seas. There will be live entertainment, a special area full of age-appropriate activities for the kids, a huge variety of food to choose from, a vendors’ area and much more. Both paid and free parking are available, and tickets for those age 12 and over have been priced at $12 each. Anyone 11 and under will be admitted free of charge, and pets are not permitted.

The after-hours party, which has been dubbed ‘The Buccaneer’s Bash’, is open to those age 18 and over. Both food and drinks will be served, and there will be plenty of live music and other fun to enjoy as well. Passes for this portion of the festival can be purchased for $15 each, and they can also be combined with the general festival tickets. A local printer can produce customized branded promotional Drinkware that can be used during a function such as this.

This weekend of nautical fun has been planned for June 17 and 18 at 298 Mare Island Way in Petaluma. More information, and an opportunity to purchase passes ahead of time can be found on the festival’s website.
