Gourmet treat in store in Vallejo

The next four months will see local foodies in for a treat, as the Vallejo Food Truck Mania calls in on the fourth Wednesday of each month

Held at the Vallejo Waterfront, 289 Mare Island Way, the event is free to attend except for the cost of purchasing food and beverages.

Every event will have a selection of gourmet desserts, such as crème brulee, Belgian waffles, milkshakes, bread pudding, peach cobbler and ice cream. Those in search of a main course might be more tempted by hamburgers, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, gyros, fries, hot dogs, Japanese style ribs, and chicken or steak teriyaki.

The barbecue food trucks will offer a variety of grilled food. There will be pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese, barbecued tacos, and fish dishes such as smoked salmon salad.

Vallejo Food Truck Mania has musical entertainment and activities for children, including bounce houses, face painting, and balloon artists.

Vallejo printing services can assist with graphic design and printing of Menus and Flyers for food trucks, restaurants, cafes, bars, coffee houses, and bistros.

These events will be held on July 25, August 22, September 26, and October 24, and run from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be tables and chairs set up to sit at, but visitors are also welcome to bring their own chairs and blankets.
