The Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum in California will be offering free admission to the community on their free family day in August.
Every month, the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum opens its doors to families interested in learning more about the history of the city of Vallejo. The attraction has over 25,000 square feet of exhibits and features five different galleries comprised of private collections, borrowed artifacts, and traveling exhibitions. Visitors to the museum can also view Mare Island and Vallejo through a working submarine periscope.
The museum has other amenities that people can enjoy. There is a shop located inside the building that sells a variety of Books and other items. Businesses that are looking for a venue to host corporate events can choose between the museum’s Hall of History banquet facility or their Heritage Center meeting room. The Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum will be hosting their free family day on August 17th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Those unable to attend the event in August can visit the museum during the third Saturday of September instead.
