A fundraiser will soon be held near Vallejo that has been planned to appeal to both foodies and those who wish to help assist local students in meeting their educational goals.
The Contra Costa College’s Culinary Arts program will be hosting its 11th Annual Food and Wine Event, and it will include offerings from both its students and at least 40 area wineries and restaurants. Those who come out will be able to try small-bite samples of the eateries’ offerings, and they will also have an opportunity to try beers, wines, and more.
To help maximize the funds raised during the function, both live and silent auctions have been included in the agenda for the evening, and there will also be a cake auction and a Tree of Abundance. Live music for the guests will be supplied by CCC Jazz-ology and Angel Armistead, and KTVU News Anchor Frank Mallicoat will serve as the MC for the occasion. Each guest will receive a souvenir carry bag and wine glass, and ad specialties such as these can be supplied by an area printer.
Tickets for this fundraiser, which has been planned in support of area students, will be held at Contra Costa College in San Pablo. Anyone who is interested in finding out more is encouraged to consult its website for further details or to purchase tickets.
