Festivities in Vallejo to celebrate two special days

The Vallejo People’s Garden will be celebrating Easter and Earth Day next month.

The festivities will include garden classes, music, vendors selling food and plants, an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and much more. Vendors are currently being sought for this event with the fee to participate at $30.

The Vallejo People’s Garden is a non-profit organization that is a collaboration of several other organizations and volunteers in Vallejo to promote wellness and health in the community and grow organic fruits and vegetables for those in need. The organization also encourages cultural and social connections throughout the community and offers educational programs for both adults and children.

Poster printing is often used to promote such events and missions of such organizations throughout a community.

Science, sustainable practices, agriculture, and the environment are among the educational topics offered by the organization. The group is looking to create a generation of gardeners, farmers, teachers, leaders, and those in the community who will be active in these efforts. The group also enables those of different ethnic, geographic, and cultural backgrounds to share their beliefs and traditions.

This event will be on Sunday April 17 from noon to 4:00 p.m. and will be at the corner of Oscar Street and East Poplar Avenue in Mare Island. The event is free and open to the public.
