An annual event will be returning to a canyon near Vallejo.
The 9th Annual Lynch Canyon Trail run will see runners from a wide area take part in what many consider to be the one of the most difficult trails in all of California.
Both 5km and 10km courses will be available, and the money raised through the event will be use to help pay for maintenance and upgrades to Lynch Canyon. There will also be a community hike.
Those who complete the 10km half marathon will receive a specially designed and handcrafted medal. People who complete either route will receive a T-shirt. Awards like these can be designed and produced by a printing company, which can also Print any other items that are needed to make the day a success. Fees to participate begin at $15, and go up from there, depending on the date of registration and the event in which the person is interested in participating
Those who wish to get involved can register online by visiting the Lynch Canyon Trail Run’s website. The event takes place on June 4, starting at 8:00 am. Registration will begin at 6:30 am, and friends and family of the participants are encouraged to attend. Due to the free range cattle and wildlife that lives in the canyon, people are asked to not bring their dogs.
