Annual womens maritime conference to return to Vallejo

Next month, Cal Maritime’s Annual Women in Maritime Leadership Conference is scheduled to come back to Vallejo for its 10th year.

The California State University Maritime Academy, which is more commonly known as Cal Maritime, is a Vallejo academy that is one of the seven professional maritime education facilities that provides its students with graduate degrees in the industry. The school was originally founded in 1929 and has prepared thousands of students for professions in the maritime industry over the past nine decades.

Registration for the two-day women’s maritime conference is available online at no cost.

Throughout the event, Vallejo participants will learn more about leadership development relating to Building Resiliency. Other topics that will be explored include how participants can take action and apply strategies to their careers for continued improvement, and a discussion on the effects the coronavirus has had on the maritime industry. To spread the word about similar events, the organizers of conferences frequently create physical Copies of event information with flyer printing to post on bulletin boards and distribute to relevant individuals to notify them as to when the event is scheduled to begin.

The 10th Annual Women in Maritime Leadership Conference will take place virtually from Cal Maritime from Thursday, March 4 to Friday, March 5 between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm on both days.
