The Solano County Fairgrounds will be the location for the Solano County Fair, which will be returning to Vallejo next month.
The fair is organized by the Solano County Fair Association (SCFA). The Executive Director of the SCFA, Mike Ioakimedes, expressed his excitement about being able to return to an in-person event after the past two years of holding the fair virtually. News of such fairs is often spread throughout a county and the region with flyer printing.
The theme for this year’s fair is “Bales of Fun” and will be the 73rd year that the county is celebrating this annual event. There will be livestock raised by the youth of the county, as well as exhibits that showcase the garden enthusiasts, crafters, and artists in the area. The fair will also feature traditional fair food, carnival rides, and entertainment.
The SCFA is a non-profit organization that was established in 1949 to produce the annual County Fair. The SCFA also provides cultural, educational, commercial, artistic, and recreational programs to residents of the county and has been doing so for over 70 years. The mission of the SCFA is to ensure the public has a year-round multipurpose venue for celebrating and showcasing the many activities and resources available to the community.
The Solano County Fair will run from Thursday, June 16 through Sunday, June 19.
