Stockton Kiwanis Club invites local diners to get crabby

Winter has well and truly set in, and in Stockton, that means that it’s time once again for the annual Kiwanis Club of Stockton’s annual crab feed.

This year will mark the 22nd anniversary for the event, which offers residents a chance to enjoy a feast of crab and other dishes while helping to support a local community service organization in its efforts to provide assistance to schools in the city. The menu includes salad and bread, with crab of course being the star of the show.

Those not so keen on seafood will still be able to enjoy the meal, as pasta with their choice of chicken and Alfredo sauce or meat sauce will be served. There will also be entertainment, dancing, door prizes, an auction, and raffles. Funds raised will be used by the Kiwanis Club to support the Sponsored Leadership Programs that take place in schools throughout the area. Stationery printers will be able to customize Invitations that can be mailed out to invite special guests to a fundraising event such as this.

The evening of food, fun, and friendship will be held on January 28 in St. Basil Church, which is located at 920 West March Ln. Tickets are available for purchase at a price of $45 each, and they, along with more information, can be obtained until January 20 through the Kiwanis Club of Stockton’s website.
