Stockton rail and bus service rebranded

The Amtrak San Joaquins which runs through Stockton has been rebranded by the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA) to Gold Runner.

The identity of Gold Runner is designed to align with the long-term expansion plans of SJJPA and the broader rail strategy of California as well as to foster stringer connections with local rial services. Also highlighted is a unique feature of the system which is an expansive network of buses that connects more than half of all riders to destinations across the state.

Local Print shops can play a major role in such rebranding with the creation of Flyers, Booklets, and other printed materials with more information about the purpose of such new names.

Since 2015, SJJPA has partnered with Amtrak to manage and grow the service. The new brand of Gold Runner builds on this collaboration and commitment to its passengers. Amtrak will remain in this collaboration and both organizations will continue to pursue opportunities that ensure a unified and seamless experience for riders across the state that enhance connectivity.

He added that this new identity captures the optimization and energy of the region while positioning the company for intercity bus and the future of passenger rail service.
