The Ramos Oil Company (ROC) has ownership of the newly opened station, which is based within West Sacramento. The innovative hydrogen fueling system on the site could be advertised with the help of a printing company in Stockton.
Mike Beckman, a vice president for Hydrogen Fueling within LNAI, has said:
“This is truly a significant milestone in the advancement of hydrogen as an alternate fuel for cars. A hydrogen fueling station is very different from the usual gasoline and diesel fueling operations, requiring highly sophisticated equipment and special handing.”
Beckerman has pointed out that the official opening of the station in question was a special event, because it was a real first. The designation was a new thing not only in California, but in the whole of the United States.
Rigorous criteria were met before the station was opened, which included a diversity of permits from specific authorities. Hydrogen fuel car makers have also given their approval to the station, while it has received backing from the Department of Weights and Measures too.
The head of ROC, President Kent Ramos, has expressed his enthusiasm for the new technology. He has underlined the fact that his firm has served Sacramento Valley for comfortably more than half a century.
