The Whimsey will be hosting its first themed market of the year later this weekend in Stockton.
The market is on Pacific Avenue along the Mircale Mile. Also in the neighborhood are several family restaurants so people can enjoy the market and a meal afterwards. Such special markets and additional amenities are often promoted throughout the city and the region with poster printing.
The goal of the Cottagecore and Green Witch Market is to remind attendees to pace themselves, so they can enjoy the simple pleasure of nature. Artisans at the market will be offering products inspired by nature that will focus on essential oils, the magic of herbs, and flora and fauna. Among the offerings will be home décor, artisan jewelry, art prints, crafts, and self-care products. Other activities will include tarot and oracle readings, sound healing, and face painting. This market will be this Saturday, January 21.
The next market will be a Valentine Market where the theme will be MACABRE VS. HALLMARK. Rather than focusing on chocolate, teddy bears, roses, and greeting cards, the market will challenge vendors to devise love spell candles, gothic and witch cards, and one-of-a-kind Valentine dolls to celebrate all kinds of love – not just that between couples.
This market will be on Saturday, February 4. Both markets will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.
