Haircuts provided for Stocktons homeless

An event has recently been held in Stockton to assist homeless people in a range of different ways.

While several homeless citizens benefited from free haircuts, food and water were also distributed. In addition, clothing, hygiene items, and dog food were shared among the people who had assembled to receive assistance.

Facebook groups like Stockton Has Heart were involved in the activity. If the volunteers wish to repeat their generous actions on another occasion, they could use flyer printing in Stockton to generate plenty of awareness for their event.

Nicholas Burnett, an artist and a volunteer, has explained the reasoning behind the provision of haircuts to the Stockton Record, saying:

“If they look better, it will help them feel better. If they look clean, they have a better opportunity to go in and get a job. We’re hoping to help, really trying to make change for these people.”

Roel Pana attended the event as someone who had recently become homeless after a separation. Pana said that he has optimism for the future, partly as a consequence of the behavior of the local community.

Nancy Lamb, a volunteer at the event, got the attention of some of the homeless community by visiting their tents. Lamb has experienced a period of homeless in the past, and revealed how rewarding the experience of volunteering has been from her perspective.
