Business owners in the Sorrento Valley and San Diego area are preparing their custom Business Cards and putting together an action plan for the Biz Dev Power Hour.
The one-hour networking and business improvement event is aimed at helping to get local entrepreneurs growing.
The event is hosted by Naz Athina Kallel. Founder of the company EuHerd, Kallel was inspired to go into business for herself in 2012. She was let go from her job on the same day she was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. Rather than giving up, she was inspired to fight harder, beating not only the disease but the challenges in creating a new business. She brings her unique perspective and expertise to the Power Hour.
The focus for the event is business development; specifically, how to create long term value and prospects for an organization by building relationships with its customers, suppliers, markets, and other local businesses. Kallel will explore a number of in-depth concepts while discussing these ideas, including sales funnels, company branding, social media marketing, and using personal growth to drive sales. The topics will be discussed in an hour-long intensive session, with a chance to network afterwards.
