Two concert series will be coming to the San Diego County Fair beginning in June. Residents of Sorrento Valley who love listening to live music may be interested.
One is the Paddock Concert Lineup, which takes place most evenings. The series includes fan favorite tribute acts, hitmakers, and Grammy winning artists. The price of admission to the fair includes access to these concerts.
The chief operations officer of the 22nd District Agricultural Association, Katie Mueller, said that in addition to a full day of fun at the fair, it can be topped off with the Chevrolet Paddock Concert Series. The 22nd District Agricultural Association produces the San Diego County Fair.
The series will open with rock legends Blue Oyster Cult on Wednesday, June 10. Most performances of the series will begin at 9:00 pm. Additional concerts in June will include the Morgan Leigh Band, Red NOT Chili Peppers (a tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Los Lonely Boys.
There will also be seven Grandstand acts that will be part of the Toyota Summer Concert Series. These concerts are not included in the price of admission, so tickets need to be purchased separately. Among the performers in June will be Chicago on Wednesday, June 10, Pancho Barraza and Banda Machos on Sunday, June 21, and Nelly on Thursday, June 25.
