Sorrento Valley hotel undergoes acquisition for renovations

The Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Sorrento Mesa/Sorrento Valley has been purchased by DKN Hotels.

DKN Hotels has partnered with its sister company, DKN Ventures, which specializes in hotel investment and development, and MJS Landscaping, Gensler, and PK Architects are teaming up to renovate the public spaces, gatehouse, and guestrooms of the hotel.

The hotel is on Pacific Mesa Court, 16 miles from the San Diego International Airport and 20 minutes from downtown San Diego. The hotel has 150 suites which include studios and suites with one and two bedrooms and separate sleeping and living areas. The kitchens are fully equipped with full-size appliances, including a microwave oven, toaster, coffeemaker, cookware, and utensils.

The hotel offers easy access to major Fortune 500 companies in the Sorrento Valley, including Hologic, Dexcom, Samsung, Qualcomm, and Google. La Jolla Cove and Torrey Pines State Beach are nearby attractions.

Hotel amenities feature a fitness center open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as a market open all day with a selection of snacks and beverages, an outdoor swimming pool, a complimentary buffet, and 698 square feet of meeting space.

Hotels can draw attention to their special amenities, distinctive features, and planned updates through professional brochure printing. Renovations at the hotel are expected to begin in the second quarter of next year.
