Sorrento Valley area event to showcase veterans program

Sorrento Valley former military medics and corpsman who are interested in transitioning to a civilian nursing position may wish to make plans to attend an event in the new year.

The National University Accelerated Track for Vets to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program will be hosting an open house that will give vets an opportunity to learn more about the initiative. Those who come out will learn how they can transfer the skills they acquired in their military career to one in nursing, and also how they may qualify for entrance into the Vets2BSN program.

Information will be provided about the supports and other measures that have been put into place to help vets succeed in the Vets2BSN initiative, and the attendees will have an opportunity to meet the school’s dean and faculty, and well as the program’s advisory board members. There will also be a discussion about scholarships and the various financial aid options that exist for former military members. Brochures for an event like this can be sourced from a Print company in the local area.

San Diego’s National University Library will serve as the venue for this informational event, and it has been planned for the evening of January 30. It is free for veterans to participate, and more information about the function can be found on the institution’s website.
