The annual Museum Month celebration of the San Diego Museum Council will be taking place next month, and residents of Sorrento Valley may not want to miss this special event.
This will be the 35th year of Museum Month and will include over 70 museums and cultural institutions. Museums participating in the event will be offering half-price admission to all visitors.
Among the new museums participating in Museum Month will be the Deer Park Winery and Auto Museum, the California Wolf Center, and LEGOLAND California Resort and its SEA LIFE Aquarium. Brochure printing can be used to list museums participating in such special events and any unique exhibits they may be offering.
World Design Capital San Diego-Tijuana 2024 will also recognize Museum Month as one of its official events. The design capital designation recognizes these two cities for their showcasing of cultural and civic events over the past year.
Over 80 local libraries will be offering passes to Museum Month. These can be used four times throughout the month at any of the participating museums. The San Diego Museum Council will also be offering digital passes. Passes from the libraries will be available from Friday, January 26, while the digital passes will be available from Thursday, February 1.
Museum Month will run from Thursday, February 1 through Thursday, February 29.
