Research institute Scripps is offering a class for dads-to-be to help familiarize men with the changes about to happen with a baby on the way. The class is open to all the regions within the San Diego California area, including Sorrento Valley residents.
Scripps is offering a basic training class to help new fathers find out about some of the things to expect when the little bundle of joy arrives. Discussion will include information about what to expect during the last trimester of the pregnancy, in addition to birth and the first few weeks at home.
Experienced dads will bring their infants to class and will provide tips and tricks for smooth diapering, meal times, and comforting a newborn. The class promises to present information true to life, the likes of which is rarely found in Books oronline.
The class will be held October 12 from 9:30 am until noon at Scripps Mende Well Being UTC. Class size is limited to 6-10 dads.
Other classes are often offered through the same entity for dads including ‘First Year Dads Class’, a 2.5 hour class offered bimonthly. The class will address issues frequently experienced by new dads when the new babies come home. The dads will bring their babies to class to participate in the casual discussions. They will experience hands-on exercises as they learn about children’s development and how to handle the growth changes.
Frequently, printing companies will provide flyer printing services to advertise upcoming classes related to pregnancy and family matters. The Flyers can be distributed throughout a region or direct mailed.
