San Ramon to host medical education conference

The PharMerica’s Clinical Geriatric Symposium will be held at the San Ramon Marriott in California this April.

PharMerica is an organization that hosts educational conferences where those who attend have the chance to earn contact hours for learning from the many seminars presented throughout the day. The topics to be covered at the PharmMerica’s Clinical Geriatric Symposium include understanding compliance standards and learning more about pain management for those who are in long-term care.

The event will be a daylong conference that will include both a breakfast and lunch buffet for all who attend. All guests at the symposium will also be given a complimentary corporate gift for staying through the conference. Each lesson taught at the event will help educate upcoming nurses on important information they can use for their careers. All nurses who come to the event are expected to dress in either casual attire or scrubs.

The PharMerica Clinical Geriatric Symposium will begin on April 1, starting at 7:15 am, and will last until 5:00 pm. The conference is free for nurses to attend, but all attendees must first register on the website. The deadline for substituting guests will be the day before the symposium begins.

Attendance to the event is limited to healthcare professionals, and those who attend must complete an evaluation at the end to receive their contact hours.
