San Ramon will be hosting two special events later this month.
Unique events like this are often promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities with poster printing.
The first is the Crab Feed Fundraiser of the San Ramon Historic Foundation, which will be at the San Ramon Community Center on Alcosta Boulevard. The annual Crab Feed will include freshly cracked crab, French bread, salad, pasta, and coffee and tea. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
There will also be both live and silent auctions. The price of tickets is $95 per adult, and proceeds go towards the Boone House Restoration project. This will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, January 24.
The San Ramon Community Center will also be the location for Lady K & the Kings of Swing. Residents are invited to dust off their dancing shoes for an energetic evening of live big band music and ballroom dancing. This event will feature a 16-piece big band performing classics perfect for a range of dance styles, including cha-cha, rumba, salsa, tango, waltz, and East and West Coast swing.
Dancers of all skill levels are welcome, from seasoned pros to complete beginners. A special swing dance lesson led by instructor Joallyn Bohn will take place during the intermission. Tickets are $20 per person. This event will be held from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Saturday, January 31.
