The city of San Ramon will be holding a Community Tree Lighting event next month at the San Ramon City Hall on Bollinger Canyon Road and Central Park Meadow.
There will be entertainment for the holidays, festive treats, seasonal crafts, and many opportunities for photographs. Municipalities can promote such seasonal events by hiring local printing services to create Posters and other materials to be displayed throughout the city.
The festivities will start at 4:00 pm at the Skate Park with crafts and a hot chocolate bar. Everyone will be able to decorate cookies and enjoy a “Make Your Own” Chocolate Bar. This will run until 5:30 pm.
At the City Hall Rotunda, there will be Storytime with Santa Claus at 4:30 and 5:15 pm. Santa will read festive holiday stories to the little kids in attendance. Also at the City Hall Rotunda at 4:10 and 4:50 pm, the San Ramon Community Chorus will be leading a singalong of traditional holiday carols.
The highlight of the day will be the Community Tree Lighting at Central Park Meadow at 5:30 pm. This will be accompanied by live music from a band.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for children 18 years old and younger to donate to Toys for Tots.
All these activities will take place on Saturday, December 3.
