This May, San Ramon, California will be hosting its annual Art and Wind Festival at San Ramon Central Park.
The Art and Wind Festival is an event that celebrates the sky with the help of teams of kite flying professionals who will be performing demonstrations at Lucky A’s Ballfield. They will be showing off their kite tricks during both days of the festival. Guests can attend a workshop where they can make personalized kites to fly in the park, and there will even be hot-air balloon rides available if the weather is safe.
There will be 150 artists at the festival that will feature paintings, jewelry, photographs, and pottery. Clothing, toys, and pre-packaged gourmet food items will also be available for attendees to purchase. Children can attend designated kid zones that have both free and paid carnival rides. Businesses that sponsor the event can use banner printing services to create advertisements that to be specially featured at the festival.
The Art and Wind Festival will be held on May 26 and May 27 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. There is no admission fee to enter into the event, though guests should bring additional funds to purchase any food or crafts from participating vendors. Anyone interested in becoming an arts and crafts vendor can still apply on the event’s website for a designated space.
