The Mega Book Sale of the Sab Ramon Library Foundation (SRLF) will be held later this month.
Such sales are often promoted throughout a community with Posters and Flyers created by local Print shops.
The bookstore of the SRLF is inside the San Ramon Library upstairs at Marketplace. The bookstore has a wide selection of gently used audio Books, CDs, DVDs, and other books. There will be a Preview Sale for members of the SRLF who will receive a 50 percent discount on books followed by two sale days. Proceeds of the book sale will benefit all libraries in San Ramon.
Volunteers are also needed to join the team at the bookstore. This is a rewarding way to give back to the community. Volunteers can work between two to three hours a week and are needed to keep the bookstore open. People are welcome to share a shift with a friend which would make it possible for them to work every other week. Volunteer applications are available inside the library bookstore.
The members only preview sale will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday September 22. The rest of the Mega Book Sale will take place Friday September 23 and Saturday September 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a $5-a-bag sale from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
