A tribute band to the iconic prog-rock group Pink Floyd will appear in San Diego this summer.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show—All That You Feel World Tour 2020 is making plans to visit Humphrey's Concerts by the Bay, where they will recreate the work of the legendary band.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show, which is usually simply called Australian Pink Floyd, formed in Adelaide in 1988. During their live shows, they do not merely sing Pink Floyd songs; they try to recreate the sound, feel, and look of the band during the world tours they made later in their career.
In order to be as accurate as possible, members of the tribute band often work with people who actually collaborated with Pink Floyd. These include Colin Norfield, who was a sound engineer for guitarist David Gilmour, and Clive Brooks, who was the drum technician for Nick Mason.
In addition, Australian Pink Floyd recreates the laser light shows of the original group, as well as using inflatables, and on-screen animations. They have one of the props Pink Floyd used on their Division Bell Tour, a pig. The band also has a mascot of their own, a gigantic pink kangaroo named Skippy, after the popular Australian television show.
Australian Pink Floyd will be at Humphrey's on August 16, at 7:30 pm. Flyer printing is often used to create handouts announcing performances like this.
