A special family golf event is set to take place in San Diego.
For the fourth year, The Loma Club will be the place to be for the Parent-Child Master’s Tournament. The entry fee includes the fees for the tournament for both the parent and child; one ticket for an adult drink; one t-shirt for the adult; and one green hat for the child.
Also included is a Masters-style lunch; over the years, the Masters Tournament has become known for the meals served to the players. Green hats are also traditional on the circuit, and everyone is encouraged to wear all white, or mostly white, as is also traditional.
The event is a scramble tournament, in which each player tees off, and then the best shot is used to determine where everyone will start the next shot. In this special case, the age of the child will be used to determine the number of shots to be used. The format allows players of all abilities to enjoy the game. It is also a shotgun start, meaning golfers all tee off at the same time, although from different holes.
The tournament is scheduled for April 10, from 9.00 am until 11.00 am, which check-in starting at 8.00 am. The Loma Club, a nine-hole course, is on Truxtun Road in San Diego. Banner printing could be used to create fun decorations for an outdoor event like this.
