Tribute band for one of the greats is coming to San Diego

Tribute bands have come into their own as people recognize their talent. Paying tribute to one of the most iconic bands in history is challenging. Fortunately, the band coming to San Diego is up to the challenge.

Led Zepagain has repeatedly shown their mastery of the entirety of the Led Zeppelin catalog. The band uses the songs—almost 90 of them—that LZ performed during their career to create a new show every time they appear. This unpredictability was a hallmark of the original group.

To do this, Led Zepagain has learned each and every song Led Zeppelin ever wrote, as well as every song they ever covered, giving them a huge catalog to draw on. They also know all the variations of the tunes. For instance, one show might find them playing the 1977 version of “Stairway to Heaven,” and a few nights later, performing the BBC’s 1971 rendition of this classic. Or they might do the studio version of “Since I’ve Been Loving You” at one show, and the live version the next. This approach makes them one of the most accurate LZ cover bands now performing. A review says:

“. . . Led Zepagain . . . [is] a shockingly good facsimile of the live show of quite possibly the greatest live band in history.”

Led Zepagain will be at the Music Box on March 15. When they want to promote shows like this, organizers often use poster printing to create advertising.
