Punk/alternative artist to rock San Diego

A singer/songwriter who worked hard to get noticed via social media is on her way to the top, and is coming to San Diego.

Margaret Elizabeth Lindemann broke through and started her career with “Pretty Girl,” her 2016 hit single. The song went to No. 8 in the United States and the Netherlands, No. 6 in Ireland, and No. 4 in Sweden. With this success, she went on to mix punk and alt rock genres into her music. Her transition was clearly evident in 2021 when she dropped her EP “Paranoia,” and again in 2022, when she followed up the initial effort with an album, “Suckerpunch.”

Lindemann is a native of Texas and got her start by posting her performances on Keek, a social media app. She began to build a fan base and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. Gerald Tennison, her manager, first saw her on Instagram.

Before achieving success with “Pretty Girl,” Lindemann released three other songs, “Knocking on Your Heart” and “Couple of Kids” in 2015, and “Things” in January 2016. In February 2016, she put up the official “Things” music video on her YouTube channel.

A review says:

“Maggie came out rocking and immediately reminded me of a young Avril Lavigne.”

Lindemann will be at Soma Sidestage on March 21. Colorful Posters are great advertising for events like this, and they can be created using poster printing.
