OTO Development, which is based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, is both the owner and franchisee of a new hotel that recently opened in San Diego's Mission Valley.
The SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel is an all-suite, mid-priced brand that comes under the Marriott umbrella of hotels. The San Diego hotel is five stories high, and features 754 square feet of space that can be used for meetings. The space will hold up to 45 people at functions scheduled there.
Among SpringHill's amenities are guest laundry facilities, business services, an outdoor swimming pool, four Chargepoint stations for charging electric vehicles, and a fitness center. In addition, there is a convenience market in the lobby open 24 hours a day.
Marriott International Incorporated launched its all-suite hotel concept in 1998, and now has more than 300 locations throughout the United States and Canada. The San Diego location is at 2401 Camino del Rio North, which places it close to Qualcomm Stadium, IKEA, the Mission San Diego de Alcala, and the San Diego River. Visitors who stay at the hotel are only a few minutes' drive from the San Diego Bay, the city's downtown, and the Pacific Ocean.
