Dark Tranquility and Kataklysm will rock Brick by Brick in a few weeks to the delight of metal fans. Dark Tranquility hails from Gothenburg in Sweden, and plays melodic death metal. They are thought of as one of the pioneers of the genre in Gothenburg, which includes other bands like At the Gates and In Flames.
Death metal is an extreme genre of heavy metal that uses techniques such as aggressive drumming, distorted guitars, and abrupt key changes, among others.
