Green event set for San Diego

A major event is coming up in San Diego to bring together leaders in the green industry.

The Green Summit has been organized by Green.Org and is a two-day event featuring leaders in the sustainability, cleantech, and renewable energy sectors. The meeting will be conducted both in-person and as a digital presentation. The keynote speaker is Hap Klopp, founder of the North Face. The North Face produces products for outdoor recreation.

The schedule for the first day starts with 30-minute presentations in the style of TED Talks, from 9.00 am until 1.00 pm. Hap Klopp will give the keynote address from 1.00 pm until 2.00 pm, and there is time for networking and socializing from 2.00 pm until 3.00 pm.

The second day’s schedule is similar to the first. There will be 30-minute presentations from 9.00 am until 1.00 pm; from 1.00 pm until 2.00 pm, the speaker is Rob Greenfield; and a networking and socializing from 2.00 pm until 3.00 pm. Events like this are perfect occasions for people to exchange Business Cards.

Among the speakers and their subjects are Dylan Welch who is the CEO of GreenOrg, who will speak about “The Importance of Going Green.” Susan Stone, who is the CEO of Ubiquitous Energy will discuss “The Future of Solar Technology,” and Andrew Beltran, who founded Original Grain, will discuss “Building a Sustainable Company.”

The Green Summit will be held September 23 and 24, from 9.00 am until 2.00 pm both days.
