Delicious event coming to San Diego

One of the tastiest events imaginable is coming to San Diego soon, bringing smiles to the faces of foodies throughout the area.

The Annual San Diego Restaurant Week is on the way, during which time 180 participating restaurants will offer prix-fixe Menus to diners. The restaurants taking part will be found throughout the city and county, making it easy for people to explore.

Diners do not need coupons, tickets, or passes to take part, but may simply go to their favorite participating restaurant during the designated period, where they will enjoy food from the prix-fixe menu, designed specifically for the event. Organizers do recommend that diners make reservations, which they can do directly with the restaurant of their choice, though walk-ins are welcome.

All the menus are different, which is the point of the week—to encourage people to try restaurants they might otherwise visit. The menus are available online via the San Diego Restaurant Week website, so diners can scan the offerings and decide what to sample. The organizers encourage people to try the special menus, but they are welcome to order off the regular menu as well. Among participating restaurants are Pehoe's on Coronado; Bencotto Italian Kitchen in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood; and the SEA180° coastal tavern in South Bay.

Restaurant week begins January 19, and runs through January 26. Poster printing can be used to identify participants in large-scale events like this.
