Special events are planned in Seaport Village, one of San Diego’s popular attractions.
The Seaport Fudge Factory and some of its friends are the hosts of upcoming events designed to get the holidays off to a fun and delicious start. Friends and families will find the scavenger hunt, as well as the holiday market, an opportunity to enjoy Seaport Village and win prizes as well. The scavenger hunt will take place throughout all of Seaport Village. The hunt is open to teams of two or more participants.
The Holiday Market will feature vendors’ booths where shoppers can find unusual items, and the stores in the Village will be open as well.
In addition to shopping, Santa will be at Seaport Fudge to participate in storytime by reading “The Christmas Story.” The shop also plans carnival games, and will be serving tasty beverages at its hot chocolate bar, along with desserts with a Christmas theme. DJ Tony T will be providing the music.
The event, which is free, takes place December 4, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and is suitable for all ages. Anyone who plans to attend is asked to bring a non-perishable item of food to add to the Holiday Food Drive, which benefits the San Diego Food Bank. When such activities are planned, organizers can enhance the experience by using flyer printing to create maps for people participating in the games.
