Bar crawl in San Diego celebrates 5th year

A popular bar crawl is returning to San Diego to welcome in the new year.

The 5th Annual Onesie Bar Crawl is billed as the year’s “comfiest crawl,” since many participants wear onesies to the event, though costumes are not required. More than 1,000 enthusiastic partiers have taken part in the event in the past. Crawl organizers remind participants that some venues have limited room, and ask that crawlers respect any requests from the venue, as well as obeying state and local regulations.

Admission includes two shots or drinks, a custom badge and a lanyard to hold it, exclusive special drinks and great food. Cover charges will be waived at all venues, and the “crawlers” will have exclusive access to a Google map of the crawl. If all that weren’t enough, an after party is planned. Events like this provide an opportunity for people to exchange Business Cards.

The crawl is scheduled for January 15, with check-in time held from 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm. Vouchers will be presented by participants, who will then be given a complimentary shot or drink of the venue’s choice. Drink specials provided by the crawl venues will be available from 4.00 pm until 10.00 pm. The after party will run from 10.00 pm until 12.00 am. People who invite their Facebook friends to attend the crawl will receive two free tickets. Organizers urge participants to use Lyft or Uber rather than driving to and from the event.
