Product demonstration scheduled in Montebello
A Swedish-Swiss engineering company is planning to present a demonstration showcase in Montebello.
ABB’s teams working in discrete automation, robotics, motion, process automation, and electrification will be coming to Montebello to spend a day demonstrating their latest services, technologies, and products.
Attendees at the event will see demonstrations in the areas of robotics, PLCs, AC drives, connectivity, pharmaceuticals, waste water, power generation, and food and beverages.
ABB Group was incorporated in Switzerland and has its headquarters in Zurich. In 2020, it was ranked 340th on the Fortune Global 500 list. It is an electrical engineering corporation with international standing.
Among its products and services are Azipod, a group of electric propulsion systems that provide both steering and thrust functions to large ships. The corporation marketed a system to bring high-voltage electricity to ships in port, allowing them to stop their engines while they are anchored, thus reducing carbon emissions, vibrations, and noise.
Providing an entertaining setting for the tech event, Topgolf is a golf entertainment venue where players rent bays and then golf balls at targets. The balls are microchipped, and the targets have sensors that track distance and accuracy.
The showcase is scheduled for Thursday, September 18 at Topgolf in Montebello, which is at 100 Topgolf Drive. When organizers develop conferences like this, they can use brochure printing to create materials for attendees.
