The Quiet Cannon will be the venue for an upcoming concert.
The “Who’s Your Daddy” night of classic oldies is on the schedule at the Montebello landmark. The concert features Tierra, along with Soto, DW3, and Sunny Ozuna.
Four respected magazines, including Billboard, named Tierra “Best R&B Vocal Group.” The group kicked off their career in 1972 in East Los Angeles, blending salsa, R&B, jazz, pop, and rock. Tierra has appeared at Carnegie Hall and are credited with opening doors for other Latino performers.
Also appearing is SOTO, a Latin R&B-funk-Latin dance band known for its energetic, choreographed stage performances. Based in Norwalk, California, the band was founded by brothers Artie and Bruce Soto. They have worked with stars such as Earth, Wind & Fire, and James Brown.
DW3 comprises brothers Billy and Eric Mondragon and Damon Reel, a close friend. They have been nominated for a Grammy and delight their fans with a mix of Smooth Jazz, Old School Funk, and R&B.
The show is rounded out by a legend in the music business, Sunny Ozuna. A native of San Antonio, he began his career when he was still in high school and has gone on to produce and release more than 85 successful CDs. His repertoire includes rock oldies, Tejano, country, and gospel.
