It’s almost summer, and time for the return of the popular Montebello park concerts.
Concerts at the Park are family-friendly, free of charge, and full of fantastic music, bringing everyone together in a pleasant outdoor environment.
The Company Band kicks things off performing hits from the disco, funk, and R&B genres.
They are followed by a battle between pop and rock, courtesy of The 80s vs. 90s Throwback Showdown.
The next week brings the Latin jazz of Plena Vista, and after that it’s the Bruno Mars tribute band, That’s What I Like.
The last performers on the schedule are The New Romantics, a Taylor Swift tribute band. Friendship bracelets are optional.
In addition to the music, popular food trucks will be on site, as will local vendors, along with favorites from the farmers’ market.
Concerts at the Park begin July 1 with the final concert of the month on July 29. The precise dates are The Company Band on July 1, the Throwback Showdown on July 8, Plena Vista on July 15, a tribute to Bruno Mars on July 22, and the Taylor Swift tribute on July 29. The venue is Montebello City Park and the concerts begin at 6.30 pm.
Parking at the venue is limited, so organizers suggest people take the shuttle bus, which is free, to and from City Hall. Colorful Posters are the perfect way to advertise events like this, and organizers can find them at Print shops.
