Youngsters are going to have a wonderfully messy time soon in Montebello.
The Montebello Mall recently announced the grand opening of the Kids’ Slime Club, which will be the first-ever Slime store located in California. The store is already planning special events including workshops such as the Sanrio Butter Slime Workshop. Sanrio is the creator of the hugely popular Hello Kitty franchise.
Other planned workshops are the K-Pop Demon Hunters Slime Workshop, based on the 2026 animated fantasy film, “K-Pop Demon Hunters.” Other workshops are Bluey & Bingo, based on an Australian television series; a Barbis Slime Workshop; one based on the character of Stitch; and one on Brainrot.
Slime is a gooey, stretchy substance but it is also a formal product. Mattel manufactures Slime that it categorizes as a toy and sells it in a trash can made of plastic. The company introduced Slime in 1976. It is a squishy, viscous, non-toxic product that comes in various colors and is made primarily of guar gum. Over the years, Mattel has released various versions of Slime, including those containing worms, eyeballs, and rubber insects.
The Slime Club opening celebration is set for April 4, from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm. The event is free, but people who are going to attend need to register. When they plan events like this, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts for local distribution, which is an economical way to advertise.
