The City of Montebello is welcoming the Boys of Summer Eagles Experience to help celebrate the 4th of July. The Boys are a tribute band for the Eagles, one of the all-time greatest classic rock bands in music. The Eagles first got together in 1971 in Los Angeles and, during their career, had five singles go to No. 1 and six albums climb to the top of the charts. They won five American Music Awards and six Grammys, and sold more than 200 million records worldwide.
The Boys of Summer preserve this legacy. The tribute group is made up of Darrel Monson, Chris Turbis, Jimmy Williamson, Nate King, and Jerry Schaeffer. All five are vocalists, with Monson handling the lead and guitars. Turbis is also a lead singer, guitarist, and keyboardist, while Williamson sings and handles the drums. King is pedal steel and guitars, and Schaeffer is on bass. All are professionals who have been in the music business for decades.
One venue said:
“They broke our previous attendance record. We were turning people away at the door. I was wishing we had a bigger club!”
The 2023 Independence Day Spectacular will be held at Grant Rea Park. Organizers of events like this can use poster printing to create colorful advertising for the concert.
