An upcoming three-day event is a celebration of Montebello.
The 2024 Heritage Festival is a three-day celebration of community and culture. The first day brings games, great food, carnival rides, and live entertainment.
The second day features live music, carnival rides, games for people of all ages, and a beer garden. Vendors will be on hand with foods from numerous cultures for people to enjoy, and artisans and crafters will be displaying their handcrafted items.
The last day brings more live music, games, food, the beer garden, and the yearly Montebello parade. It is also the day for runners to limber up and enjoy the annual runs. There are three choices available, as the annual Montebello Heritage 5K/10K Run will take place along Whittier Boulevard. The runs start from Montebello City Park, with the 5K and 10K stepping off at 8.00 am. The 1K Kids’ Run begins at 8.30 am. The adult runs are $30 each, but the Kids’ Run is free. At 9.00 am, the beer garden will open, and a taco truck will be available.
The 2024 Heritage Festival is set for the weekend of October 11, 12, and 13, at Montebello City Park, located at 1301 West Whittier Boulevard. Vendors will be charging for their items, but free parking and a free shuttle will be available. When events like this are set up, planners may decide to work with a professional printer who can use banner printing to create course markers.
