A talented musician who is part of several groups will be playing in Montebello soon.
Jimmy Becker will be at Angry Horse Brewing to share his skill and get audiences moving. Jimmy, who respects the traditional genres of rock ‘n roll, R&B, country, and the blues, has worked with award-winning stars such as David Grow, David Cassidy, Yvonne Elliman, Rita Coolidge, Thelma Houston, and many more.
In addition to his work as a solo artist, he appears with DEEPFRIEDBUBBLEGUM, an acoustic duo; The Barnburners of Los Angeles, a rock group; Jim Brickman's Celebration of the 70's; and sometimes appears with Saloon No. 12, a bar band that sings the classics from artists like the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, and more. He also works with Reunion—A Tribute to the 70’s, a multi-media extravaganza that recreates iconic rock and pop songs note for note.
Becker has a charming stage presence and a vocal style based in the folk music that is the traditional origin of rock ‘n roll, and the Blues. He lists BB King, Tom Petty, Keith Richards, Jim Morrison, Mick Jagger, and others as the artists who have strongly influenced him. This eclectic group is reflected in the range of music Becker plays.
Jimmy Becker will be at Angry Horse on February 24. When shows like this are planned, organizers will frequently use poster printing to advertise them.
