Country fans have a major music event coming up they are sure to enjoy.
The Commerce Country Fest 3 will return to the Commerce Casino & Hotel in Commerce, a short distance from Montebello, this spring. Artists scheduled to appear are Dylan Schneider, Tigirlily Gold, and Tim Hurley, with Chris Young headlining the event.
Chris Young is a singer/songwriter who won the 4th season of “Nashville Star,” which brought him to the notice of RCA Records Nashville, who subsequently signed him. He released his debut album in 2006, and three tracks off his second album, “The Man I Want to Be,” went to No. 1. In 2017, he was given country music’s ultimate accolade and inducted into the Grand Ole’ Opry.
Tim Hurley is from the East Coast but is now based in Nashville. He calls his combination of thoughtful lyrics and “feel good” tunes “Country Coastal.”
Tigirlily Gold are a sister duo from North Dakota now based in Nashville. They honed their craft at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, where they won a weekly residency.
Country singer/songwriter Dylan Schneider released his EP “Wannabe” in 2016, and found himself called “Country Music’s Next Rising Star” by Billboard. Two of his EPs have made it to the Top 20 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
Country Fest is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, and is limited to those 21 years of age and over; a valid ID is required for admission. Events like this can be advertised successfully when organizers use poster printing.
