Long Beach to share comic creations
The Long Beach Comic Expo will take place at the end of the month at the Long Beach Convention Center.
The annual event celebrates pop culture and comic books. Talented artists, illustrators, and writers will join the brilliant genre creators.
Exhibitors will be on hand at the Long Beach Comic Expo displaying and selling many related items and products. Booth vendors will typically call upon their local print company to provide print services. Banner printing is a frequent request as most vendors hang the banners in their respective booths.
Other activities include entertainment, educational programs, celebrity meet and greet opportunities, and guest signings.
MAD Event Management, LLC hosts the annual Long Beach Comic Expo. The event planning company is led by President Martha Donato and produces large comic book and pop culture events throughout the nation. Smaller activities are also managed by the entity in other cities.
Special guest this year will be Barbara Randall Kesel, who is something of an industry veteran. She will host the ‘Where do ideas come from?’ panel, bringing her extensive portfolio with such comic brands as DC, Marvel, Image, and Dark Horse to the table.
The Long Beach Comic Expo will be held May 31 and June 1. Kids ages 10 and younger get in free, and discounts are offered for military and law enforcement members. Visit the event website for more details.
