Public barbecue turns up heat in Long Beach

Long Beach will once again celebrate an annual barbecue festival open to all residents. This event is expected to draw a diverse crowd, and visitors are encouraged to bring along their appetites.

The 2026 Long Beach Barbecue Festival is now in its fourth year, and organizers claim that this is the largest event of its kind throughout California. The barbecue will be taking place over two days, and a host of on-site activities compliment the food itself. Live music performed by local artists, retail kiosks, and whiskey tasting are a handful of examples.

This is also a family-friendly festival, and children can enjoy specific attractions. An on-site carnival providing plenty of interactive games, and designated play areas are both available. 2026 sponsors include Axiom Kitchen, and the Noah's Ark Foundation.

Events that have proven to be quite popular in the past will normally employ an array of advertising techniques to connect with the intended audience base. Some common strategies include flyer printing, working in tandem with Stationery companies to produce Brochures, and placing informational pamphlets within relevant restaurants.

The 2026 Long Beach Barbecue Festival is being held on Saturday, May 23rd, and Sunday, May 24th. Doors open at 12 PM on both days, and festivities conclude at 9 PM. All events will take place within the Rainbow Lagoon located at 400 East Shoreline Drive. Ticket prices vary, and children under the age of three can enter for free.
