Long Beach will soon be catering to a variety of runners who wish to participate in a challenging race with picturesque backdrops.
Since there are several events to choose from, this competition is expected to appeal to a wide audience.
The Crescent Moon Chase includes a 5K, a 10K, a half-marathon, and a 10-mile run. All courses will be following the Long Beach coastline, so participants will not need to be concerned about steep declines or challenging inclines. Safety is nonetheless taken seriously; medical personnel will be available throughout the day, and hydration stations can be accessed by all runners. Everyone who participates will receive a complimentary medal as a way to commemorate their efforts.
Local races intended to attract a diverse audience will use equally flexible advertising techniques. Some proven approaches include working in tandem with local printing services, placing Brochures in fitness centers, and creating Posters that provide contact information.
The 2026 Long Beach Crescent Moon Chase is scheduled to be held on Sunday, February 22. The race will begin at 5400 East Ocean Avenue, and participants are asked to arrive at 6:20 am to receive their bibs. The course will remain open from 7:00 AM to 10:20 AM. Ticket prices range between $26.97 and $41.81 per contestant. While street parking is free, private parking may incur an additional $2 charge.
