Long Beach will be playing host to one of the most well-known street races in North America. This Formula One event is expected to draw a large crowd, and fans have already begun clearing their itineraries.
The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach has been held since 1975, and this IndyCar series is held throughout the downtown area. Interestingly enough, the Acura Grand Prix is also the second-oldest racing event in the United States behind the well-known Indianapolis 500. This competition was originally created by Christopher Rock as a Formula 5000 race.
The circuit itself is just under two miles long, and it surrounds the Long Beach Convention Center. The track has also become known for a series of sharp hairpin turns that present challenges for even the most seasoned drivers. Between 25 and 30 drivers will normally compete in this annual event. Notable winners from the past include Paul Tracy, Michael Andretti, and Al Unser Jr.
Major sports events will use a myriad of advertising techniques to keep the public informed. Banner printing, radio marketing campaigns, and dedicated websites are some common examples.
The 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be held between Friday, April 17th, and Sunday, April 19th. The racetrack is located at 300 East Ocean Boulevard.
