Long Beach to celebrate Independence Day in royal fashion

The Fourth of July is now only a matter of weeks away, and cities across California are already gearing up for the celebrations to come. Downtown Long Beach will be presenting its residents with a unique way to commemorate 250 years of freedom.

Fourth of July at the Queen Mary provides the opportunity to enjoy the day aboard the iconic cruise ship of the same name. Organizers have also created a lineup of activities ideally suited for all ages. Live entertainment includes country music, line dancing, a Frank Sinatra tribute band, hip-hop DJs, and the Andrew Sisters barbershop quartet.

Those who plan on bringing their children along for the ride can also access interactive attractions such as face painting, balloon twisting, and caricature artists. All guests are provided with access to a complimentary barbecue buffet.

Celebrations associated with annual holidays will often leverage a host of different marketing strategies to achieve the best results. Some techniques can include paying for services offered by well-known Print shops, hanging banner advertisements around the community, and managing social media pages.

Fourth of July at the Queen Mary is being celebrated on Saturday, July 4th from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The ship itself is located at 1126 Queens Highway. General admission tickets cost $75 for adults and $45 for children.
