The annual Long Beach Greek Festival is once again expected to attract residents at the end of this month.
This event intends to highlight the ways in which Greek culture has impacted the Long Beach community, and to provide attractions for the entire family.
Now in its 52nd year, the event continues to appeal to all ages. There are several activities that visitors can access throughout the three days, with cooking demonstrations, live music performed by The Olympians, dancing, and food raffles all available.
This year's Greek festival will also offer up plenty of unique dishes synonymous with the Mediterranean country, including souvlaki, Greek cheese pies, a type of pasta and ground beef known as pastichio, lamb gyros, baklava, and Greek wine.
Events focused on celebrating cultures will employ several techniques to keep residents informed. Some of these may include physical brochure printing and Flyers, while online advertising is also a means to provide relevant information. These are likely to appear on the official LB Greek Fest website.
The 2025 Long Beach Greek Festival is being held between Saturday, August 30 and Monday, September 1 at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. The address is 5761 E. Colorado Street. Activities begin at 12:00 noon each day, and they will last until 7:00 PM. Tickets cost $5 per person.
