Long Beach to host emergency preparedness seminar

Long Beach will soon be hosting a hands-on seminar intended to provide residents with helpful advice in the event of a sudden community emergency. Known as "Ready Long Beach", this event was first held as far back as 2014.

Ready Long Beach 2025 aims to stress the importance of preparedness before, and during, any potential disaster. Fires and floods are two examples of scenarios that Long Beach may be faced with in the future.

While guests can expect to receive the latest professional advice, Ready Long Beach also provides a means for local vendors to display their merchandise. Note that this includes non-profit businesses throughout the region.

Vendors who attend events such as this will use various methods to advertise their services. They may distribute contact information, offer Promotional Products, or hand out Brochures. These very same techniques could also be employed by the organizers themselves.

Ready Long Beach is set to be held on Sunday, October 12th. It is being hosted in the parking lot of the LBCC Veterans Memorial stadium located at 5000 East Lew Davis Street. Activities begin at 9:00 AM, and they conclude at 2:00 PM. Admission is free, and complimentary parking is available. Note that a site plan will soon be available at the Ready Long Beach website, so it may be wise to bookmark their portal for future reference.
