The City of Glendale will be celebrating the coming of spring with its “Eggstravaganza” event this March, including a traditional children’s egg hunt, followed by a celebration of Cesar Chavez.
Children from the Glendale area can hunt for painted eggs throughout the Pacific Community Center area, inspired by traditional Easter celebrations. There will be different “flights” for children in different age groups, up to 10 years of old, as well as a hunt for children with special needs and sensory-friendly accommodations. Kids should bring their own baskets, and can only be assisted by adults under the age of 5.
Children can also meet the Easter Bunny and have their picture taken. The Eggstravaganza will also include family attractions such as carnival games and a climbing wall presented by Glendale Rocks! Visitors can also learn about community organizations and municipal departments through information booths. Exhibitors at events like this often use flyer printing to better communicate with the general public.
The day’s events will also include a celebration of the life of Cesar Chavez, the legendary California-based community organizer. Attractions from the morning event such as the climbing wall will carry over into the afternoon. This celebration will also include musical performances, a drawing, and fresh tacos.
Glendale’s Eggstravaganza and Celebrating Cesar Chavez events will both take place at the Pacific Community Center on March 28.
